I'm in the market for a new laptop and Im confused as to which model I should have and what stats it should have. All I want is speedy internet and a fast computer. What do you think I should buy with about a $1000 budget?

Type "a $ 1000 laptop" or something like that in the search box of a website as Yahoo, Google, etc. and you'll get what you want more than you need!

best idea if your not technical minded is goto a large computer shop speak to a salesman who knows alot about them he will advise and try and sell u 1, walk out and shop around for the same laptop

This one, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16834115246 though it will cost you about $1100 with shipping, it offers great features and there is no better laptop in your price range, believe me, I've checked. I bought that laptop and I have yet to find a better deal. Worth every penny.
