Best anti-virus out there is NOD32, free from www.eset.com. Download the software ,run it thru twice and then follow the root path to delete the virus. When the NOD32 is running you may get a red pop up warning, follow the suggested action, most likely to delete. If NOD32 ask you to submit the virus do so because it helps everyone else. The software checks whats in your system now and blocks malware from ever coming in thru the internet. the trial version is for 30 days free but you can delete it after 30 days and re-install.

You need to disable the viruses first. Go to Start and run msconfig. Deselect everything in your Service and Startup tabs - except for Microsoft products and those that you need to connect to the internet. You'll have to reboot your PC.
After restarting, go to Limewire.com and download a copy of Nortons Anti Virus. Follow the instructions int .txt file to install and register Norton. You cannot be connected to the internet while installing Norton's so disconnect you modem.
After you've installed Norton's, it will want to do a full system scan. After this, it will want ot reboot and do another scan. Have at least one more reboot befor reconnecting your mode.
You should by this stage have a fully functional version of Notons. Go to Live Update to download all the updates for Nortons. After this run msconfig again and select a Normal Startup. You'll have to reboot your PC.
Do another full system scan. Norton will detect and destroy any viruses that are left in your system/

http://www.download.com/AVG-Anti-Virus-Free-Edition/3000-2239_4-10543927.html?tag=lst-0-2
Its a AVG and its a free program that works the same as Mcafee or Symantec, I have been using it for years on my computers with no problems. Good Luck, make sure to download the free version.
