There aren't really any disadvantages.
There's tons of advantages though - you can do almost anything using a computer. Only real limitation is that it's all numbers. None of it has a physical existence.

Well basically the advantages of the computer are many. The advantages consist of access to the internet, which in end enables a user to communicate with other friends and people around the world. The computer itself can process information faster than even the smartest/fastest human, and can answer some questions even we can't. Also, the computer enables us to do much work while sitting in one chair and staring at a screen. People can find work off their computers and even make money working with their computers. The disadvantages are as follows, the obvious upkeep of a computer can be a hassle. When one gets in to computers and buys an excellent computer, it enables the user to do all the advantages litsed above but never without a few disadvantages. Besides the upkeep, computers can mean wasted time. The computer is probably the biggest time waster available, since it has so many features, and with a little money, you can gain even more features. Last, the things you do on a computer can sometimes come back to hurt you. Computers and the internet are filled with illegal things, and many times people will get hooked on them. Take warez (illegal software/music/videos etc) for example. People get limewire or bittorrent or another program to get warez and they suddenly get hooked. They begin downloading more and more and one day they get caught. And then, they're fined tens of thousands of dollars, for something that started as just a habit.

The advantages are plentiful. Buying merchandise on line can save you boat loads of money. The Net has every subject known to man. There is a plethora of information available to people that has never been available before. You can even communicate with someone on the other side of the globe with a different language in real time, and the answer comes to each in his respective tongue. That's just a drop in the bucket of advantages.
The disadvantages are plentiful too. Loss of privacy is a big one. Hackers is another. The U.S. is more dependent on computers than any other nation in the world. What happens if someone pulls the plug? We don't have paper backup like other nations do. Predators lurk in chat rooms ready to prey on the gullible. And what child is not gullible? With computers it is much easier to spy on others and even rob them of their credit cards. It could be argued that computers waste people's time.
There are enough quick answers here to give you a push in the right direction.

i'm between the die-hards that makes use of the mechanical one completely. even as i changed into training for my commercial, between the instructors on the faculty reported me practising with the E6B and suggested me to apply the digital one instead, suggesting that it might want to be swifter on the longer and bigger not easy commercial written. i purchased one and studied with it for a some days earlier taking the exam. even as i tried to apply it to the really exam i chanced on that 1/2 of the demonstrate had lengthy gone thoroughly sparkling. i might want to nonetheless study numbers on the bottom so I knew it wasn't batteries. some glitch with the demonstrate had rendered this in reality new device unusable. luckily I also had the E6B with me. the subsequent day I lower back the digital one and under no circumstances regarded decrease back. i love that the mechanical one is easy to apply, more durable to interrupt or fail, and it is only as quickly or swifter once you're used to it. it is more less expensive too, and no favor to modify batteries. I agree that it also enables pupils to bigger visualize the calculations. both pilot state of affairs is thrilling, yet all of my flying so some distance has been unmarried pilot (or training pupils). As a helicopter guy it is not easy to take it or use it interior the cockpit besides, yet a minimum of there's a small E6B version which could slip right into a kneeboard and be used with one hand. I under no circumstances fly at severe altitude or speed, so i won't be able to talk to that element. With that attainable exception i do not see the thanks to pass incorrect with the E6B, yet I do imagine each and every pilot desires to pass with their own determination and luxurious.

You are writing a thesis for your Ph.D. and you need this web site to write it for you?
Perhaps you didn't mean "thesis".
There are no disadvantages to using computers, unless you mean that they require people to think and plan and work. That doesn't sound like a disadvantage to me.
The advantages are that they require people to think and plan and work. Yep, no disadvantage.
