I want to know that kind of information that my computer with Windows 98 has to check if it has the correct requirements to get upgraded. But where can I find that information if I have no idea.

Is there a way to find it in my own computer?

Explain in simple words please. I don't know much about computers.

So my brother accidentally locked my computer (window XP) and now he forgot the password. There is only 1 account and i can't get in without the password. Right now i'm using his computer to type this up so yeah. How do i log in a password protected computer without some sort of CD or something? I don't want to reset anything either because i have important files in there, nor do i want to take my comp to the comp shop because thats just too much. Is there anyway i can log on a computer without the password?

i want a cooler program than AIM to use because im getting tired of the look of AIM and i want something more simple and possibly transparent. i want to be able to talk to all my other friends that still use AIM though. ive tried that program 'trillian' and ive looked at all the skins on the program and none of them even look better than AIM.

i am running Windows XP by the way

I bought a sidekick 2 off of ebay, paying with paypal. The guy i bought it from has good comments, but he has ignoring my emails. The day I bought it he answered saying I sent the payment very fast. **Ironically, he hasn't left a comment on my ebay comments** Think i got scammed?

The image on my Lenovo Laptop 3000 N100 series is very bad. It is grainy and dark. Is there any way that I can improve it ? I found that my friend's Intex external web cam (probably of the same resolution - 300 K ) is far better than the one on my Laptop.

I'm looking for a laptop that's pretty cheap and I don't know where to find one! I've been to Circuit city, ebay, Walmart, Amazon, and a whole bunch of other places!!! I don't want to pay over 450 dollars for one, and I don't want a used on either, because of course, they're probably bad.
