I've tried various combinations, but don't seem to be entering the correct numbers!! Help!!

as before will be on the bottom of the laptop - always startstting with 28xxxxx and space and another 7 - 8 numbers - first part starting with 28 is the serial number 2nd part is the product number

See on the bottom of the laptop. If it doesn't work look at your manuals and cash receipts from your dealer. If you won't find any thing there also. Just call the customer support and lodge a complaint that the serial number is legible or can't able to find out, or missing. Seek their help.
They can even register by providing you the serial number or assist in a suitable manner.

Myself and my relations have had 5 hps, and they are the finest of any pcs we've ever owned. I honestly have under no circumstances used a Sony however. yet i can purely say brilliant issues about hp!!

look at the bottom of the laptop.
there u will find a serial number
use that one

its on the bottom of the laptop. every serial number is different, so nobody can give you the right answer.

It should be on the box it came in or on the botton of the computer.
