I then have to ctrl+alt+del, bring up Task Manager, end the 'explorer.exe' process and then restart it. How can I reset whatever it is that is causing this? (I run anti-virus and Windows Defender also this will happen as soon as I've logged on - its very annoying!)

For fast drive purpose. Should I focus on getting two WD drives w/ 16mb cache or 2 WD drives w/ 10,000rpm or even 3.0Gb/s? Because it looks like there is no WD Raptor with all 16mb cache / 10,000rpm / 3.0Gb/s and with less than 100GB of space.

This drive would house my Operating System and main programs.

I was then thinking of getting a WD 300GB 16mb cache 10,000 to house my data files.

there r three questions, 1. how do u find out how many gb your computer is cuz i cant remember when i buy it, 2. i hav 2 drives in my computer and i cant find the one for floppy disks, do do i just stick it in one of the drives? 3. is it possible to divide your hard drive into different sections(i believe like A drive, D drive etc.), if so , how do i do it and can i do it at home. I have my laptop for 6 months now, and I have never received a single piece of spam, which was great.
Then on Tuesday the first piece of spam arrived, and now, today, the second mail has arrived.
Why should this start happening out of nowhere, and without warning?
How can I stop it?
I use Outlook Express, and I have Norton Antivirus installed.
Any comments welcome.
