I have a laptop with a Celeron M processor and it is fast as hell. People tell me that a Pentium Processor makes a laptop heavier and kills the battery alot faster too. Is this true? And what are the pros and cons of each processor?

I HAVE A DELL DIMENSIONXP WINDOWS.TROUBLES WITH MY SECONDARY WINDOWS-IT SHRINKS ON ME WHEN IT OPENS UP.I HAVE UPDATED JAVA2-I USE EXPLORER BROWERS I THIMY POP UP BLOCKER NOT THE CAUSE NOR IS MY ANTIVIRUS I HAVE THROUGH VERIZON DSL WIRELESS.I WILL GIVE EXAMPLES...WHEN I GO TO A GAME SITE:POGO.COM(PLEASE I KNOW THEY HAVE ISSUES WITH BROWSER AND SUGGEST CLERAING COOKIES-CACHES-I HAVE DONE ALL OF THIS TO NO AVAIL) MY MAIN PAGE LOADS IN FINE.I PICK A GAME SAY:WORD WHOMP.IT LOADS IN.THEN I HAVE TO CHOOSE A ROOM TO PLAY IN-A SECONDARY WINDOW OPENS TO GO PLAY THERE.WHEN THIS SECONDARY WINDOW OPENS UP-I CAN SEE IT FLASH A FEW TIMES-SEE ITGET SMALLER SIZE.IT THEN LOADS IN GAME OK,BUT SIZE OF THIS SECONDARY WINDOW IS TOO SMALL.I CAN NOT USE FEATURES AT THE BOTTOM OF IT NOR THE TOP OF IT.I CAN NOT TAKE MY MOUSE TO ENLARGE IT- I CAN NOT CLICK ON THE GREY TOP RIGHT CORNER TO ENLARGE IT- CAN ANYONE HELP ME OUT WITH THIS PROBLEM? .MY OTHER COMPUTER DOES SAME THING.VERIZON INT.SERVICES OUR ONLINE DSL

My DSL is slow and closes pages often... any ideas?

I clear out my cache often and clean up my computer too. I will try to get into a page, and all of my browsers just close down. It is very frustrating! It makes me want to give up on SBC....please help! Andi

Help me. This is an EMERGENY!!!?

Help me. I cant find the any key. Without finding the any key I cant install my anti virus and without installing my antivirus i wont be protected against viruses.Without being protected against viruses my computer will get a virus. If my computer gets a virus so will everyone at the coffe shop because I use there network. I got this answer a while ago.

How can I fix my computer?

Alright I loaded it up this afternoon and I get the message file is missing or corrupt please insert the orriginal windows install disk and press r at the first screen.. Simple enough I think so I pop it in and wait for a while then finally press r but the problem is there is a list of commands and I don't know which to choose. Please help! ps: best and fastest help gets 10 points :-)

Is the slot where the floppy disk drive plugs into the motherboard, a IDE port?

I know that hard drive and CD/DVD drives go into the IDE slots, but there is a third slot and I think it is the third IDE port, but I'm not sure.

Why am I only able to keep one window open?

I have an HP Windows XP computer. I use Internet Explorer 6. Recently, whenever I start the browser, I am only able to have one window open. When I try to open a second one, the first one closes on me.
