Actually what is happening is that there is some installation procedure going wrong or there should be some corrupt file in the disk.No need for the repair.I know what you are getting in the error list.It is becoz the windows executes the file what had been corrupted in the system and it should be running fully when system is working. It is some where in the system32 in the windows directory. So,what you have to do is just ingnore the message. Some times when the settings are changed then the messgae will pop up.Dont worry the file will fix itself and if the problem persists then you can take it for granted that your computer windows is displaying the message since even though it is repaired it still unloaded the message from its poping up list.Dont worry it always happens and even happened to me!just ignore and do your business nicely!have a nice day!

....bad news but first, what windows are you installing anyway...XP Pro, HEdintion, TPC, MCE??? But look from what you are saying, its look like you will have to reinstall the windows again!!! but the problem might come back again because there is a file not being installed during the installation probably do to the CD being scratched or something....if this is the case then you are in bad luck...because during the installation a file will not be copy and you will be ask to skip it and if you do....it will later affect the way the computer will functions.

most of the time you will be able to totally bypass this error....when your command screen comes up....type in c:\ win....if it is not in the.... (C:\)....directory already type....(cd..) this will get you to the "C" directory and you can start windows from there....but most fo the time it gives this message because windows (system32) has been changed and or modified and has not had enough time to properly repair itself....this could have been caused by a number of things...most of the time i have seen it do this because the system was not "shut down" PROPERLY....if the problem persists post another one with more details...like what windoes u are running and info on if it lets you in windows period or if it stays in DOS mode....hope i have helped....

probably the best way to fix the problem is to reinstall your operating sistem. Boot from your WinXp CD (modify boot sequence in BIOS) and folow steps.
Skip Repair functions(they will probably do no good)
*Delete partition containing Windows
*Create New Partition
*Format New Partition
*Install Windows on new partition
/!\ The programs instaled on your PC will be lost /!\
PS: windows needs too be reinstalled from time 2 time to work properly.

I am guessing it is asking you about formating the hard drive. You want to choose the "leave the drive the way it is" option (or wording close to that). If that does not make sense, please list the options it is giving. Hard to knew the answer without the choices.
