I clear out my cache often and clean up my computer too. I will try to get into a page, and all of my browsers just close down. It is very frustrating! It makes me want to give up on SBC....please help! Andi

well to start, you can easily call your provider to run a test on your line to start. if its OK then a speed test can be ran by them to show how much bandwidth your using to your modem. next if it is running low they need to send a tech out to see why. usually you may simply have a phone, sat box, or ans machine connected without a filter. if not, it could be your too far out from the main office causing your speed to respond just above dial up speed. and finally if that doesn't fix your problem you just may have a PC issue like a virus or running low on memory like or ram or hard drive. if this helps post it back with your response.

Your browser closing down on its own is not the fault of your DSL provider. It's your browser reacting to the web sites you visit.

If you are using IE, try a new browser. Firefox is good and is a small download http://www.mozilla.com/

Have you ran a good virus program? You may have a virus. Have you tried using a different web brower instead of just Internet Explorer? You may have to call your DSL provider and see if there is anything that they can do...

If cache,cookies,and tmp files have cleaned up,and you have tried cycling your modem(unplug for couple minutes) and restarted it and the computer.Call customerservice if problem continues

Download and then run startup.exe at:

Can't live without it and windows...

Then disable and/or uninstall whatever u don't need.
