Ok I have a Sony Vaio computer, I must when it come to other things it's pretty fast when doing other applications, but when It comes to burning or editing anything with Media or Dvds it freezes or takes a long time. I just bearly Installed my Dvd burner and a 250 memory card, hoping I would get some great results, but no it's pretty slow when burning, so far Ive only burn 2 movies at 2 hrs at a time for a 90 minute movie... here are the specs/features Please help me

by the way my computer has over 700 mb of memory, my burner is Pioneer 16x16 ... Please only serious Reply's thanks I have even booted my Computer at started fresh I even bought a Ram booster , all it does is free up more ram : (

I ran norton nothing came up, i ran ad aware nothing came and i ran spybot search and destroy and nothing came up. But i was told this is a virus so i went under RUN > type MSCONFIG > and went to startup and blocked it from starting up. So will this be a permanent fix and will no computer be no longer infected? Have I stoped this infection in my computer for good?

If I connect my laptop on my internet connection VIA wireless, and my desktop computer is connected in the internet connection too but not VIA wireless, can it transfer viruses and spywares from its system to my laptop? The desktop is not really mine , its my parents and they are not updating there computer frequently and my guess is that it has a virus. Will it infect my computer if I connect my laptop on their connection wirelessly?

k dell xps gen 2 two gb's of ram 3.4 ht p4 chips and windows xp pro why is it when windows media player is running it stops this computer in its tracks cpu goes to 95 to 100% and every thing stops for wmp to work and half the time it crashs what is going on plz i need help

Whats the deal with Yahoo running so slow? It wouldn't, connect it just sat there with with the little ball turning a no reaction for about 2min. !! This is the second day.. Is anyone else experiencing this or well it could just be my computer...................

If it says something like Firefox is attempting to connect I allow. But sometimes I get messages like 409.233.234.98 is trying to connect to the internet on port 1026. Or 123.446.137.88 is trying to access your computer on port 0. What does all that mean and how should I know whether to connect or not. I tried just blocking everything I didn't recognize but then I couldn't connect to my radio stations for a long time. Advice please.
