It is Multiple Processors on one Chip.
Back in the day, Some Computers had as many as 200 Processors, that was called a supercomputer.
Now people can have computers that Rival some of those old processor power with as little as two processors, Now thy are on one single Chip,
the Chip slated to go into the Sony PS3 has eight processors on one chip.

Essentially it's two processors packed into one (I don't know how to get any more technical, sorry =\)
