No matter how much we say don't drink and drive people will do it. I think we need to make the public really aware of how distracted they really are. I am thinking of putting a website up but wanted to see what people thought. If you are going to do it, how about do it as safely as possible. I think it is better to get the information on safe DUI driving than to turn our heads and just say don't.

Okay after I first got my 90 Seville I first just put 20% tint on the car. At the time it was great, but over time it just didnt feel dark enough for me and I was never pulled over, so I got 15% all across, again the first month I felt I was looking cool again, but then again, it just wasnt dark enough for me! and I still havent gotten pulled. So this is my plan, I am planning to get a 00-03 Deville soon anyways but on this Car I plan to go all the way out, I mean 5% tint on the side windows and rear window and I am also going to get the windshield tinted. I am considering 20% on the windshield to make a serious killer looking effect of deep dark throughout the car, but then again I want to be able to see where Im driving, I can imagine that being hell at night especially in rain. But a guy at my school has a Charger and his tint is so dark you cant see in the car AT ALL even the windshield looks like it has 5% across the entire thing! to me that just looks sick, yall dont thinkso?

Well I was sitting at my computer watching things on youtube when I heard a loud BOOOM out side at which I closed Internet exploerer and went over to comfort my dog who was scard and had her tail between her legs. For some reason I didn't look out the window but instead turned on the NFC Playbook on NFL network when I heard a knock at my door and as I looked out the window I saw two policemen and a cop car out side but it was too dark to see why. I opened the door and they asked if my parents were home because someone had, driven drunk, drove way over the speed limit and crashed into our van on parked on the street. My parents were out eating dinner so I called my mom's cell phone and then gave it to the Policeman. When they got home a few minutes later I went out to check on the van and saw that the guy was driving so fast he had sent the van foward about 12 feet and totaled both cars. So now here I am at 12:36 am, I should be in bed and yet now I am on yahoo answers....

Does anyone else have this problem and if so, what do you do about it. My problem is that when people are driving towards me, even on dipped beams, I find the lights so bright that they seem to blind me and also cancel everything else out which is in front of me, ie people that might be crossing the road.

the continuing use of mobile phones when driving,is particularly bad in the north west of the UK, blatant use by transport drivers is normal, we see many times vehicles making turns with the drivers using mobile phone, whilst making the turn, I really thought this was now iilegal to use these when driving has the law changed or too lax in enforcement these users are dangerous the high volume of traffic on the roads does not allow for such stupidity

it has been proven several times in tests and in actual use since the late 1950's that the best color for the lines would be a light lime green? With the use of the lime green colors from the inside of the lime, not the outside it has been proven that you can see the lines better in 'any' weather, from raining, snow, dust storms, etc. With the continued use of those stupid yellow-orange lines there are times when you cannot even see where they are, let alone where you are on the road in a rain or a heavy fog. But with the light lime green color the lines are still brilliant enought to see in any weather? If America is changing for the better, wouldn't this one thing improve the roads so that there would be less accidents?

im in adelaide Australia, everywhere i go there is cops trying to fine ppl left right and centre, there is speed cameras, RBTs, drug testers, traffic cops, motor bike cops, everywhere i go, they just dont seem to be doing anything else except trying to get money out of drivers. rego, license, taxes, etc etc it goes on and on.
i just feel like i am a honest good person, not a criminal, why am i annoyed at cops? the criminals willsteal a car, have no licence, drink drive, speed, then rob a store, beat someone up, if they get caught, they wil ge nothing but a slap on the wrist.....
im sick of it
am i the only one that feels like this?
is it only like this in adelaide or eveywhere else in the world?

so that if someone forgets their baby they don't die? Something like a solar powered AC that works with the car off and keeps the car at around 72 degrees would save so many babies!

On the way to work, I encountered a tow-truck driver with a bad attitude.

He tailgated me through a 30 mph school zone, flashing his lights. After we got out of the school zone, I sped up to the regular speed limit of 45. He continued to tailgate me and flash his lights, and he started laying on the horn. When I reached a red light, he swung into the empty right turn lane and raced past me through the red light, nearly wrecking another car.

After seeing this reckless behavior, I called the tow truck company and reported the incident to a manager.

My husband was horrified that I reported the guy. "What if he gets fired?" hubby asked.

I feel that I was justified in calling his manager. If this guy worked for my family's business, I'd want to know about behavior like this before I handed him the keys to a company vehicle. And I don't want to share the road with this guy, especially with him in a giant tow truck.

So settle our bet. Was I right to report Mr. Road Rage?

watching people drive everyday, you see such an attitude don't you? How many times do you see the guy or girl, wave the middle finger we all know and love at you? And the funny thing is that they are mad at you for calling them on something they have done wrong as a fellow driver(cutting you off, or my favorite, not using the directional signals! What is one of your driving pet peeves!

I was driving in a different state last week. The drive to the client's place of business was about 30 miles. Throughout the drive there was various zones where the speed limit was 55, 65 and 70. Some of the 55 zones were construction. Anyway, I was in a rental vehicle and noticed that while in the 55 zone, I was going 70. I thought I was going too slow because every single car passed me very quickly. They had to be going 25 mph over the speed limit. 55, 65, 70...didn't matter most non-truckers were going 80 plus. Why do people not obey the limits? I understand going a few mph over but 25 mph over??? That's not right.

I have been driving for awhile now, and I am an amazingly safe driver. The only problem with my driving is that sometimes when I want to hit the brake pedal, or when I am hitting the break pedal to slow down, I sometimes hit the gas pedal. Basically my foot is unintentionally hitting both pedals when I only want the brake pedal. I have a slight movement restriction in my right ankle, but that isn't the problem as much. If anybody could help me I would be very grateful.

P.s. The reason why I bring this up is that this happened and I put my car into my garage door while being airborne. Don't ask how.

Thank You very much for your time.

I am in a power chair. I ride over to the store a lot. A Friend started to walk with me. He said that I should drive my power chair on the left side of the road with the traffic facing me(scary to me). I thought you were to walk or ride on the right side of the road with the traffic behind you. There is no side walk because there is a parking lot until we get to this very, very short drive into the Strip Mall parking lot. People who are driving their car's are turning into this drive I would be smack right there in front of them (surprise) as soon as they turn in!At least the people driving would be seeing me all along. I told him that I would ask. If I am wrong I always admit I am wrong. Please don't tell me to stay home This is my only transportation, and it keeps me in touch with the outside world.
