I am a law enfoircement officer, I wanted clarification on a rather nebulus statute, I want to know if speeding in a school zone is a no fine offense because it is a mandatory court appearance or can a fine be leved just like any other speeding ticket. please be specific

As a 'law enforcement officer' you'd know that there is nothing nebulous about the statute. The law in your state will specify the options. A mandatory court appearance means that it's,well, mandatory. If you could just pay a fine without going to court, then it wouldn't be mandatory. And lastly, your law enforcement department would be very clear on any clarifications about ticket policies.

So how IS law enforcement these days on Gilligan's Island?

As a cop, you should know. but you're not, so you don't. Yes there will be a fine, probably a stiff one.
