We live in Japan, and when the English friend we had staying with us went to Narita airport for his flight back to Heathrow he was expecting all sorts of inconveniences ... imagine how surprised he was when the people x-raying his suitcase INSISTED that he put his 3 bottles of alcoholic liqueurs into his HAND BAGGAGE to carry with him on the plane! I think this is ludicrously dangerous, and ASKING for trouble! I also feel the same way about people who buy duty-free - glass bottles, lighters, maybe letter-openers - and are allowed to walk onto the plane carrying them!!

It seems to me that any wanna-be terrorists wouldn't NEED to carry dangerous stuff from Heathrow, they could buy most of the things they need in another country and blow the plane up on the way BACK to Heathrow more easily!

This applies to flights to America, and to any other country that's sided with Bush. Do YOU feel safe, knowing that people can smash a bottle and hijack your plane? Or threaten people with a lighter?

I have an 89 firebird and just recently I started to smell gas... I checked but there was no obvious leak... today I checked and it is leaking almost a continuous drip underneath by the gas tank. Should it still be somewhat safe to drive until I get it repaired... and no I dont smoke so I dont have to worry about that!

Why, oh why, are there roundabouts with 2 lanes that give you a choice for going straight from either of the 2 lanes? This is annoying as i see daily incidents of near collisions between vehicles, and people trying to race so they come out first on the other side. I understand this may reduce traffic at busier roundabouts but i am talking about small non-congested local ones. One lane should be for staright or left turns, and the other for going right. Anyone agree?

The traffic controllers are understaffed because Unions put constrains on FAA's ability to hire enough traffic controls. If there were enough of those so a person with two hour's sleep would not have to come to work, this would not have happened.

I need help with this question. My boyfriend doesn't use his blinker very often (it drives me nuts!!), but maybe I use mine too excessivly. Anyway, the question is, do you use your blinker in a parking lot, too. Such as while your waiting for a parking spot or to turn down an isle? I use my blinker for EVERY SINGLE turn, regardless of where I am. My boyfriend says that you don't have to use yours in a parking lot.
