Whats the deal with those stupid teenagers putting those annoying tail pipes that make their cars sound like they are farting?

Also when you blast that much bass doesn't it annoy you in the car. If it vibrates the window of my house doesn't it make your *** go numb? I realize that they are trying to be "cool" but do they realize they annoy everybody and its like a prank, or what?

I have noticed recently that nearly every mobile speed camera van is parked in a location that should a normal motorist park in such a way would be liable for a ticket. Is it legal for the olice to break the law in order to trap others possible commiting a more minor offence.

I've seen dozens of motorcyclists riding through crowded freeways between lanes filled with cars during heavy traffic. Is this legal in California?

A handi cap spot or a fire lane? My bf sometimes parks in fire lane when he's "just running in" but he doesn't realize that ambulances also use fire lanes too.

I remember as a kid my parents carrying the loaded clip in the trunk and the gun unloaded under the seat. I know you can get a concealed weapon license, but aside from that, on a long road trip, what is legal to carry where for a handgun?

the green light, when a Durango smashed into my rear driver's side door from my left , smashing it in. I drive a 89 toyota camry. He was coming from the other light. I called my and his insurance and explained what happened. The police didnt do a police report because they said that unless someone is injured or the car is totaled, they do not do police reports. There were no witnesses. His insurance is saying that he says I ran the red light. Is anyone familiar with what the insurance company will decide? Based on proof that is lacking, what their decision will be? I know I had the green light but Im really upset that this man is lying and want to know what the decision will be in the end.

I was taking a cab to the train station in Montreal to come home for Thanksgiving. I've taken cabs before, and had no problems, but this one was different. He was very persistent in hitting on men, even after I made it obvious I was not interested and had a boyfriend. I don't even understand because I'm not that attractive. He asked me to spend time with him before my train left, asked me for my phone number, gave me his phone number... asked me a bunch of personal info, and said something along the lines of, "You're a very pretty girl... we could go out, have something to eat, I could take you shopping, buy you lots of nice things. You're 18, right? We could go back to my place, have some wine... and what happens from there is up to you." I kept saying no, and asking him to stop, but he was very persistent right until he dropped me off. (I made him drop me off by a security guard.) Am I just reading too much into this? Should I report him or just let it go?

This light is independent of the traffic light for the other lanes, and is always green except when the traffic to the left has a green light and the oncoming traffic has a green light to turn left.

I have seen many people treat this red light as if it were a stop sign or flashing red; They come to a stop and then proceed after checking traffic. This makes some sense to me but I thought that when there is a changing traffic light specific to this lane, you are to stop and remain stopped until it turns green. Granted, I took the writing portion of the driver's test about 22 years ago, but for some reason it is emblazoned in my brain.

Am I right?

The left front signal blinks very fast, while the right front blinks normal speed. The left rear turn signal as well as the left rear brake light are both not working. The left tail light works as normal, but when the brakes are applied, the light does not begin to glow bright red as it normally should. Is it a bad bulb and easily replaced? Vehicle in question is a 2001 Dodge Dakota Sport.

I know the answer to that but I mean in relation to motorcycle safety. My car needs front and rear impact bumbers, steel re-inforced side beams, lap and shoulder belts, front and side air bags, safety glass etc. And a child needs to be in a booster seat until they're 80 or 90 lbs. Yet a motorcycle has no built in safety devices (aside from the operator), you don't need to wear a helmet (some states) and you can just strap your kid onto the back and say "hang on".

Without getting into an argument over bad drivers/cyclists, can someone explain this to me?

Ok... so I was driving today in L.A. and I came close to this Pedestrian Crossing which WAS marked. It was a regular street with 3 lanes on each side. On the fast lane, this big long expedition with tinted windows was trying to make a left turn and there were two guys crossing the street. Unfortunately, I did not see these two guys because the guy was blocking my view (and there were no lights in the street that were flashing when pedestrians cross). There were no cars infront of me and I saw the ford was hesitating to make a left turn when no cars were coming. So I slowed down to 25 mph because I knew something was fishy. As I passed the Ford on my right, I see two guys stopping in the middle of the road because they probably thought I didn't see them and were being cautious. The cop wrote on my ticket that I almost hit them by 1 meter, and failed to stop for them. I HONESTLY did NOT see these two guys and I used all the precautions. What am I supposed to do? Am I f....ed?
