The left front signal blinks very fast, while the right front blinks normal speed. The left rear turn signal as well as the left rear brake light are both not working. The left tail light works as normal, but when the brakes are applied, the light does not begin to glow bright red as it normally should. Is it a bad bulb and easily replaced? Vehicle in question is a 2001 Dodge Dakota Sport.

i would say bad bulb, the reason the turn signal blinks so fast is because the circut is interupted, the tail light and brake light are usually two different bulbs.... since the front works, it is not a fuse issue, replacing the bulb is not very difficult and the bulbs are not very expensive, so if you replace it and it still is not working you know there is a different problem.

your flasher is going out its located in fuse panel in dash . look in your manuel to locate and access it .replace your bulb just to be sure you dont get pulled over by police for bad tail lights . shouldnt be hard to remove and replace bulb . be sure to get the right bulb at parts store and flasher . this is common problem that happens on all cars and trucks with time . they make them to fail with time its a money thing of course . your blinker or flashe should be silver and rounded your fuses will be green red or blue and plastic and somewhat see threw with two prungs that just plug in . its hard to tell if ones blown just by looking at them but sometimes you can tell ones shot . best is to have someone who dose cars and trucks check them but you can just buy some and then try them until you replace the right ones .

I think you should have the car's lighting and signal lamps
checked properly for defective bulbs. Change them quickly to
avoid any nasty accident on the road when you're driving.
Happy motoring!

The answer from WHO BE BOO is correct. These others are way off the mark. It's just a bulb failure.

bad bulb or bad fuse, pull your fuse first and make sure it is the correct one and is not bad, if it is not that then i should be the bulb
