A handi cap spot or a fire lane? My bf sometimes parks in fire lane when he's "just running in" but he doesn't realize that ambulances also use fire lanes too.

Well yeah a fire lane, cause the fine will be bigger if an emergency does happen.

Both places, the handicap spot and fire lane should not be
parked in by anyone else other than those who are required by
law to use it.
It's an offence and liable to a fine, if you park your vehicle, even for a moment, in these two zones, which are meant for handicap people and emergency fire trucks and ambulances.
Next time, be alert - remember don't do it again.

a fire lane because if there is a fire and a fire truck pulls up they will bust out your windows to get to the fire hydrant.

You can get a hefty fine for either. It would be better to just walk a little extra, even if he's in a hurry.

Both are bad. Some cities ticket and tow within minutes.

I don't know which one has the highest fine, but they're both lame. Tell him to not be so stinking lazy.
