ok.Court was a month ago!It was agreed upon that parental rights would be terminated & custody be given to me.We were never married.HE refused evaluations, refused dna, refused councelling, cancelled his order for partial custody & had the judge put in the paperwork that if I gave him 600 dollars,he would sign off his rights. In court,he did not have a lawyer present,& said he wanted to go by the agreement. Now,he has yet to sign anything as the check STILL sits @ the lawyers even though he ws notified! After 3 years of fighting for my 4 year old twins, this decision was made because of violence and a pfa order.WIll this automatically be in my favor even if he thinks this is a jokefest and never signs anything? I know he'll never go to jail because he gets away with EVERYTHING.I was given full sole legal custody but I think alls he is going to do is insult and piss off what decision was made in court that day. This was HIS idea. Also this is what he wanted in mediation

A disused trainline passes 100 feet behind our house that may soon be used for a new commuter diesel train. Is there any research showing the decibel levels at 100 feet away of a modern diesel train or light rail at this distance running at ~30mph.

Links to any detailed research showing actual db levels of commuter diesels or light trail trains will get your answer ranked higher. Interested in the facts (not the politics).

I am doing a school project, and have to pretend i am writing a letter to the editor of a news paper and i needed to know how many people die from train crashes, or if people get hit by trains when they go through the closing boom gates? any type of information concerning deaths and trains is wanted.

Answers are much appreciated :)

The last passenger train in Scranton, PA (not counting Steamtown, or special events) was in about 1970. I believe the station was the building that is currently the Radison Hotel. This station was of the same grandure as 30th Street Station in Philadelphia, or Union Station in Washington, DC.

I don't think they will be using the Radison as a train station as well. Besides parking, you don't want commuters in a hotel lobby.

Will the Scranton station be a loading platform with a park-and-ride and a kiss-and-ride (a place your wife drops you off for the train), or will there be a building that is at least as nice as the new Atlantic City Train Station?

I was recently hired by BNSF as a conductor trainee. I interviewed in Dec., took my physical in Feb., got my welcome to BNSF email April 30 then got a phone call from them May 4, 4 days later, telling me they cancelled my class and will not hold any classes for the rest of the year. It seems like they would have known that before telling me I was hired.

Are people not retiring as soon as they expected, or is business dropping off? Everything I have read says all Class 1's have more business than they can handle.

It makes me wonder how competant those in charge really are.
