My family and I are taking a short family trip to Guadalajara, Mexico- and we were told we have to bring extra gas, because filling stations aren't always close enough to make it between on a single tank. What is the safest way to store about 10 gallons of gasoline inside the car?

Thanks

I have a 2004 Grand Am that I bought in Michigan a few years ago. Michigan is a one plate state so it wasn't prepped for a front plate. I recently moved to Maryland a two plate state and really don't want to damage my car to get the stupid thing on. So I was wondering how I could attach the front plate?

I was reading an article on j-turns on wikipedia. It was interesting; however, it really doesn't have much details. I'm hoping someone could tell me exactly what you have to do in order to pull off a j-turn. Thank you in advance.

Of course we all know about the male size thing, and the testosterone driven urges to "look" tough, "act" tough, etc...

But I just don't get it...110lbs, that can barely look over the steering wheel of that 6000lb beast. To me, it's as ridiculous as seeing a NBA player in a pink Miata.

Your thoughts?

My friend was illegally parked, and had his car towed(YES, a stupid mistake). He had to pay the illegal parking fine, yet when his car had to be towed...

The same company(who will do a 3 mile tow) charges $45.00. Now if the POLICE are in on it, now to get your car back is $300.00 ....so where did the $255 go to? You see this scam played out 24-7-365 ALL across america, by law-enforcement.

Great way to fill the city coffers...and who are the real criminals(that sign-off and authorize gangsters).

Anyone else have to pay extortion fee's to get their car back?

72F tank air. 100psi
72F outside air.
72F engine block.

Air into spark plug hole at top center.
Air decompresses and chills.

Stop the engine at bottom center.
All valves closed.
Air trapped in engine.

Come back a week later.

Will the air be recompressed to 100psi and 72F?

I have an autistic son of nearly 18 who is desperate to learn how to drive. I dont think he would cope but i have to give him a chance to try. Does anyone know of a centre that might give him a few lessons away from public roads to see how he would manage. I live in Kent so need to be in that area. Thanks
