That is an odd ly worded question. I think the first time of learning, however long it take is IT. Aye, yes I remember every minute of it as if it were yesterday. Which it wasn't. My door to freedom.

I remember like it was yesterday. My dad told me that he would not teach me to drive unless I learned on a standard. What does he do. Takes me out on a old country road. I was very proud of myself. Learning how to shift the gears was easier than I thought. It was all fun and games until...
He takes me to a stop sign that was backed up with traffic, and up a hill. I kept popping the clutch, and killing the car. I couldn't get up the hill. I told him that I didn't care anymore and didn't want to drive that bad. Two days later, I was at the same stop sign and "doing" it. I'm very glad that my dad made me learn with a stick shift.

I was a country boy and lived on a farm and the first time i drove was a tractor.It was a blast and it really taught me the feeling of all the power.Then my uncle put me in his 68 merc and we drove it on back roads for hours but it seemed like minutes.I couldnt wait to get my license. Now driving is no big thing

Yes I told my Grandfather I wanted to learn to drive. He tossed me his keys to his 56 Chevrolet and said it's out front by the curb but it back where it is, I was ten years old

i can remember driving my dads 56 gmc when i was about 6...
i don't know when i started.. i had my own 57 Chevy by the time i was 12
