I had my car towed and I only have liability so my isurance won't do anything and can't get involved, only reimburse the towing fee. The car is brand new, and when we went to get it, it has two big notches missing from where he picked it up at and the bumper is hanging down about 4 inches on 1 side. And they hit something with the back end because the black paint is gone and its got yellow going all down it and won't come off. The people who own it won't even talk to us about it. They are really scummy, and shady. They won't do anything. Can the BBB do something, or reimburse me? I have pictures, and all my reciepts, and people who inspeceted the car before this happened.

When the term hybrid vehicle is used, it most often refers to a Petroleum electric hybrid vehicle. These encompass such vehicles as the Toyota Prius, Toyota Camry Hybrid, Ford Escape Hybrid, Honda Insight and others. A petroleum-electric hybrid most commonly uses internal combustion engines (generally gasoline or Diesel engines, powered by a variety of fuels) and electric batteries to power electric motors. There are many types of petroleum-electric hybrid drivetrains from Full hybrid to Mild hybrid which offer varying advantages and disadvantages.

What's the difference between a mild hybrid verses a full hybrid? Why the actual horsepower is different from combined? I would like to know how it works as well.

I have 1.8Tdi 1996 and I have ripped all the carpets and underlay out because they where damp and the car stunk. Anyway, I have noticed that water is collecting on the floor on the drivers side near the outer edge of the seat. I put some water down where the pollen filter is and no water came through. Any ideas where this may be coming from? Cheers Lenny

I recently stumbled across, in my garage, an older model Whistler detector, a Model 1540. I don't need the "cutting edge" technology in radar detection equipment, yet I wonder if this unit still provide a modicum of protection...I know the 1540, e.g., has X, K, Ka and laser/VG2 capability but I know it's close to 10 yrs old. Should I feel comfortable using this older detector? Thnx

Does anyone know of any cheap companies (mainly ones that charge less than 10.00/day for an underage (18-24) driver? The only one I heard of is Fox rental cars. But I heard alot of complaints from them. I made a reservation with them but I want a backup just in case. Thanks

I've been looking on the DVLA website and it gives the new increased rate for vehicles registered on or after March 2001 and March 2006, but not older vehicles. I really don't know what I'll be expected to pay!
