On a road test you must demonstrate a few things.

1) Road Confidence
2) Sign, Signal knowledge
3) Safe Driving and Road Awareness.
4) Ability to perform the necessary maneuvers.

In Detail:
1) Show that you're not scared out of your wits while driving. Driving in fear will probably lead to an accident.
2) Show that you know the signs and take the necessary actions.
3) Show that you're aware of your surroundings when driving, parking, turning, etc. And that you're not a reckless driver.
4) Show that you can actually parallel park when you need to and all the other good stuff.

Your question would fall under #3. You don't have to follow all the rules, but for your road test, humour the tester in the passenger seat. You should always have both hands on the wheel. Being too casual may give the impression that you're a careless driver and make the tester reluctant to give you the passing grade. You should make it obvious where you are looking before turns, parking, pulling out, etc. It doesn't matter that you see those spots, the tester needs to see that you're looking in the right spots. If in doubt, ask yourself what would the tester think if s/he is critical and reluctant to give away licenses. How can I make them feel more comfortable sitting in the same car as me and believe I'm a competent driver.

flow out and prepare in an empty spot between 2 parked automobiles between now and the attempt. The examiner has some leeway in scoring your using. If the guideline is 6' from the slash, the examiner might provide you fifty one/2 to sixty one/2 " with out failing you. it certainly relies upon on the examiner and what form of temper he/she is in. in the event that they have had a foul day,you will possibly no longer do as properly as while that they had a good day. the excellent concept of the using attempt is to work out how properly you may administration a vehicle competently and do specific initiatives. the only 2 issues i comprehend will reason you to fail a using attempt is hitting a pedestrian and having an twist of destiny, even in spite of if that's not your fault. attempt to apply a vehicle you're used to using or a smaller vehicle than the only you will many times stress, get familiar with the controls and stress it around befor the line attempt to get used to it. A shorter vehicle makes it extra handy to get into parking areas.

Signal going in and out of the spot... the signaling got me failed the first time I took my road test.

Use both hands to steer unless you drive a manual transmission vehicle and you must shift while manuvering.
