Can I use vinegar in pace of windshield wiper fluid? I know it cleans windows, but will it harm the paint job or anything like that?

Price is not an issue.

Vinegar and washer fluid are about the same price. I'm not being cheap, it has nothing to do with money.

DO NOT USE VINEGAR! I use vinegar to remove paint stains on the job. It will eat the hell out of the paint job on your car!

Winshield wiper fluid is very inexpensive and if you get your oil changed professionally they usually fill you up on it while you're there. So since it isn't saving you much money to use vinegar instead I would say just buy the wiper fluid so you don't have to worry about it damaging your paint.

Use windshield washer fluid. You can mix it with water (at least 50% fluid) if it's a winter formula, when the temps are above 30 F.

The fluid is like a dollar at the gas station. Just buy the fluid.

Definately do not use it. It will mess up the pump that pumps in out. It will mess up the tubes, and screw your paintjob up. Sometimes...the cheap way is def. not the best way. Use approved washer fluid with your car. And don't start using Windex or anything like that.

Good luck!

I dont know about your answer but here might be something helpful...wipe down your windshield with rain X sprat (not wipes) you can get it at auto zone, and just fill the other with water. It keeps your windshield sparkly clean!
