I get in my car this afternoon and there is a green/brown spider on my dash. I get out and hit it with a piece of paper (all i had handy) and it feel on my floorboard and went under the drivers seat. I cant reach under the seat because there is hardly any space. I have a $37K dollar car sitting in my drive way that I cant drive. I seriously hate spiders and this crap is wigging me out... any ideas of how to kill it if you cant SEE it? Without smelling and ruining my car with some pest bomb?

I'm talking about an INDIVIDUAL car, not just what fueleconomy.org's website says about that particular model. I'm trying to determine if the changes I've made to the vehicle have improved the gas mileage any.

I found it on ebay @ about 2am with 3 hours left. I sent the seller a question and he never responded (it has been 2 days and he still hasn't answered). Isn't that a bit shady too?

provided everything else is legal of course like provisional n experience driver n l plates etc. cos we were thinking of going driving at night for practice...wasnt sure if it was legal.

last night, the "battery " light came on, then went back off. It did this several times. When I rebuilt the alternator, I did NOT replace the battery. Should I? Do I have a bad alternator again? What could be the problem?

I live in the north eastern part of the U.S. We've experienced a snow storm two days ago and I can't move my car. I've tried shoveling my car out but the snow is pretty much ice now. I've been told that Kitty Litter can give the tires traction and get the car out. is this true? If so is the litter applied to the snow or to the tire or both? I thank you in advanced for your help!

This engine was suppose to be the engine of the future and was to more that triple MPG. Could it be that the car companies went to sleep on this technology? Could it be that the oil companies derailed it as they did the electrical powered street cars in many cities years ago ?

Someone borrowed my car and on returning it said its not got good fuel economy (a VW Golf 1.4 S). It always seemed ok to me, but 've just filled it up and and gonna monitor the miles per tank this coming week.

How many miles per tank do you get ? If possible please state your car make, model, and engine size.

If you diesel people want to chip in with your miles per tank.. that fine too.

For USA... gas for petrol.... and kilometers maybe... but I don't understand those much.
