Did anyone read of the woman in the £96k Merc who drove into a flooded river ford, ignoring road signs that the road was unsuitable for cars?
Or how about the woman who turned left onto a railway line because the satnav told her to?
Should insurance companies refuse to pay for this sort of stupidity?
What do you think?

How do gas stations work? I see the big tankers on the highway and in town going between stations to fill the underground containment pool, but it seems like with all the people visiting the pump the station would have to have a tanker there 3-4 times a day to keep up with it. Does one tanker truck hold enough for multiple stations? Where do they refill the trucks? Do the trucks need to refilled 3-4 times a day also? This is a lot... but I'm realizing I have no knowledge of this huge part of our daily lives! Someone please enlighten me!

I just bought a 2007 Dodge Charger SRT-8 that has a 6.1L V8 HEMI engine with 425hp but the exhaust system is crap. I want my car to sound like a real muscle car but not so loud that it wakes up the neighbors in the morning. I checked online for performance parts and I found that Borla has a cat back exhaust system with 2 1/2" pipes and claims it's 1.5db louder than stock. Will 1.5db really make a difference? There's also another system by Corsa and they use 3" pipes but don't mention how loud the exhaust will be. The Borla's costs $1,080 and the Corsa is $1,340. Do you think I should go with the Borla or try out the Corsa?

I've dreaded learning how to drive, mainly because since the car sticks out in front of you and to the side so much, I can't judge exactly where I need to drive. I also could never get too excited about owning and driving a car. But after seeing a trike on the road, I checked them out online and fell in love with them. They just look so cool! Plus, I would think that it'd be easier to judge where you are on the road, since you're sitting in the middle and sort of front of the bike, unlike a car. But my mom doesn't think they're practical (i.e. no protection from the elements), and that they're really unsafe. So my basic question is, what's your take on all this- trike vs. car?

I really need your help in finding a car navigation system other than OnStar that is easy to install, doesn't require a lot of modification of the car, and whether or not it needs a subscription is not important since I'll take it either way. I really just want something in my car that has easy to navigate maps that I can use to find my way. Or where you can type in where you need to get to and the video guides you to your destination. Hopefully this makes sense.
