Muscle Car question?

I just bought a 2007 Dodge Charger SRT-8 that has a 6.1L V8 HEMI engine with 425hp but the exhaust system is crap. I want my car to sound like a real muscle car but not so loud that it wakes up the neighbors in the morning. I checked online for performance parts and I found that Borla has a cat back exhaust system with 2 1/2" pipes and claims it's 1.5db louder than stock. Will 1.5db really make a difference? There's also another system by Corsa and they use 3" pipes but don't mention how loud the exhaust will be. The Borla's costs $1,080 and the Corsa is $1,340. Do you think I should go with the Borla or try out the Corsa?

I've used Borla Exhausts in the past. They have a nicer rumble than most aftermarket exhausts and aren't nearly as load.

If you use the car as a daily driver, a loud exhaust is going to drive you crazy, especially on long trips. I'll always go with a Borla is it is available.

A muscle automobile is a basically styled brut stress automobile. exceedingly a lot vast V8 and not in any respect a lot else. the priority that makes Muscle autos so eye-catching is the sheer simplicity of them. a huge engine and an straightforward, immediately shrink shell. Oh and the noise. a noisy Grunt that sends shivers down automobile fanatics spines.

I like borla and flowmaster 50 series they seem to produce the best sound and are not too obnoxious

i happen to like the sound of borla, but my ears still love the good old flowmaster 50 series. I have it hooked up to a 5.9, and it's music.

The bigger, the better, get the corsa because of the 3" pipes.

The Borla....Vettes and Benzes use it alot....most Euro and tuners...
