I really need your help in finding a car navigation system other than OnStar that is easy to install, doesn't require a lot of modification of the car, and whether or not it needs a subscription is not important since I'll take it either way. I really just want something in my car that has easy to navigate maps that I can use to find my way. Or where you can type in where you need to get to and the video guides you to your destination. Hopefully this makes sense.

I use the TomTom GPS. You can get one for about 300 dollars. It's very user friendly and you can use it right out of the box. Comes with a car charger.

Garmin makes some nice ones. I like the pioneer one, it comes with a stereo and DVD player, about 2K I think. So if it's just the GPS unit you want check out the electronic stores and audio shops.
