I am after buying a large tool chest for work, I have seen a snap on one I like (KRL 1022) but am put off by the price. Where would I be able one find one of a similar size?

Look in your area for tool boxes at Pawn shops, In the classified, trade in boxes from tool distributors, or on E-bay. There are a few brands to look for Snap-on, Mac, and Matco are but a few. But, some boxes why they look the same may only have a first-person, one year, two year, or life time warranty. Some boxes are built by the same company--but are sold under different names--Like "Huskey" sold at Home Depot. There are two things that you are buying--the box, and the warranty.

They all tend to be expensive, but they will last you a lifetime. You might ask about used ones.

sears and home depot or Lowe's or napa have good mechanics boxes
