I'm 23, have a good job and I want something fun. I've had a BMW 325i conv, Volvo S60, BMW M3 conv, Acura TL and a few motorcycles. Now I just find myself stuck. I won't pay for the Porsche 911 cabrio, just too much and I don't like the cheaper stuff, like the accords and toyotas. Who can help me? I want a fun to drive and reliable sports car. What should I get?

I'm curious to see how many people take precautions for when they get stuck on the side of the road.

I'm 17 years old and already a college student...I'm an international student and new to the United States. I'm in Florida and got my learner's permit last december....it says on the permit that i have to wait until my 18th birthday for me to drive without a licensed adult...Now, im having problem coz my parents have a very busy schedule and they coudn't get me to school and pick me up on time. Furthermore, our place is in the suburbs so there's no public buses or taxis...really difficult situation. The school is only 2 miles from home....so it is possible if could have a consideration to drive from school 2 work only on a learner's permit?

I recently purchased a 1998 Ford Explorer and the alarm has went off twice this weekend. It's bitter cold here right now, could that have anything to do with it? It has a brand new heavy duty battery in it, less than a month old.

I want to make sure I do it long enough. On the other hand, I don't want to let the car idle needlessly when I can just go ahead and go. How long should I warm it up?

Well i'm 13 at the moment and my parents said that they'd buy me and my step bro a car when we turned 16. i rele want one. they're around 16 grand now so how much do you think they'd be in 3 years. they said they were only paying for so much of it so i'd have to pick up the slack. insurance is another thing i kno it'll be exspensive but how exspensive? do you think its reasonable for me to get that if i can or should i just stick to the integra which i also want. but not as much as the RX-8. and yes i do know that i'm thinking in advance a good bit i just have a small obsession with cars.

Hi,
Does anyone know if there is anywhere in the UK where I can let my son drive my car, like around a track or something. He is almost fourteen and very keen to learn to drive early.

Thanks

I am contemplating buying one as I need something small, tough and reliable that'll get me to and from work as well as down the various bumpy tracks I have to drive on a daily basis, whilst having 4 seats and good storage space in the rear (when rear seats not in use). A Sukuzi SJ seems ideal- anyone heard otherwise?

As size and fuel economy are an issue I am choosing one over a Land Rover, but are there any other contenders? Thanks!
