Well i'm 13 at the moment and my parents said that they'd buy me and my step bro a car when we turned 16. i rele want one. they're around 16 grand now so how much do you think they'd be in 3 years. they said they were only paying for so much of it so i'd have to pick up the slack. insurance is another thing i kno it'll be exspensive but how exspensive? do you think its reasonable for me to get that if i can or should i just stick to the integra which i also want. but not as much as the RX-8. and yes i do know that i'm thinking in advance a good bit i just have a small obsession with cars.

starting saving- you have 3 years to go- you might change your mind by then. You should call an insurance co and they should give you an estimate on how much it will cost you for car insurance. I think you will be shocked even if it is on your parents insurance.

You must be talking about a used one, because the price starts at $27,000 for a new coupe base model. The RX-8 is a dream car for a 16 year old. And the insurance is going to be a nightmare for Dad! Probably run him about $8000 a year, depending on where you live. The price of insurance for a teenager with a sports car is unbelievable. I hope your Dad's ready for that!

Your insurance would be outragous for that car and at 16. No that isnt a reasonable car for a 16 yr old. The insurance would be like 5K a yr and you need full coverage since it is new.

sorry but insurance would be through the roof. get a good 4 cylinder like mazda miata, and get a manual they are much more fuel effeciant, cheaper, and more fun.

First off, I would like to say you would do much better learning how to spell (rele????), punctuate, and capitalize. Then you can afford a good car.
You will crash your first car. We all have. Men crash in big ways and women back into everything in parking lots and don't leave a note. So which car would you rather be in when you wreck?
