No you wont burn more gasoline.
But...if you turn on the heater your car will run slightly cooler because your heater is like a small radiator and will disipate some of the heat.

NO not at all. You have what is called the heater core and a blower motor, your engine coolant flows through the heater core making it hot, and your blower motor blows the hot air into your car.

No, it works off the engine coolant, It doesn't make any difference in gas mileage to run the heat.

With your car running, it will not increase or decrease the fuel consumption to turn on, or off, the heater. Perhaps that distinction will stop the "yes" "no" discussion going on.
