Ok well, i got me a car, it was my friends and now hes generously given it to me. So having repaired a multitude of probs i decide to take it abroad. heres the thing.. Does it need to have tax and MOT if I'm driving it abroad with a view to leaving it abroad. Its going to my friend who will insure and register it over there... Any ideas on the legality or rather plausibility of getting away with it as legally as possible, be it bending the rules a bit.. :P

I heard that if you have a heavy key chain, the weight of all those keys, trinkets, etc. will eventually wear on your starter and damage your car. Is this true, or just an urban legend?

I just had the Avital 4200 remote starter installed on my 1999 Nissan Sentra. Their is a rear defroster option as well. My rear defroster is enabled by a push button. Any idea how to set my remote starter to use the defroster when the engine starts?

dad loves to speed,and to top it all off he is in the early stages of alzheimers,which means that I am always repeating things.His short term memory is gone meaning you tell him one thing and he ll forget what it was you said. what I am getting at is that how do you tell a strong willed person that he cannot or should not be driving a car?Dad has come close but never had an accident,however he ie tempting fate.I hate to get in the car whenever he drives.
