Do I need to contact the dealership about the warranty of the car? I heard something about needing a third key and a possible problem with wiring if circuit city or someone else does it other than the dealership. i'm assuming the dealership would be really expensive. Has anyone had this done on a new car, any suggestions? Any idea on the different costs of installation/any good brands for the remote starters? Thanks

today I recieved my provisional licence (I am a bit surpriced cos I only applied on Tuesday!) and I notise it covers me for vehicle catorgies: A, B , f , k , p. I know that A is motor bike, B is car, but I dont know what f , k , p is? Do you know what it is?

Hi. I recently purchased the new 2007 Torched Penny Scion xB and it has a simple/general security system. Anyways, my friend had her car keyed a while back & she didnt have any security system at all. Then she got some lettering put on both rear-back side windows that reads, "Protected by V-Cam Security". Now these are just words to make people believe that her car is security protected and that there are small hidden cameras on her car. The system isn't there, it not a reality, and it's just so people stay away from her car and she hasnt had anything happen ever since.

Do you think this is a good idea? I don't wanna pay so much money for a high-tech security system but i want my car protected from keying, vandelism, etc. Thanks for the answers...

AND DONT MAKE FUN OF MY CAR!!!! lol

I heard this somewhere. In Europe, we have 3 types of gas (called 'benzine') available: Super (=deprecated, few engines still support it), Super 95 and Super 98. The number would indicate the level of octane in the fuel. What kind of gasoline do you Americans put in your cars?
Also, I think we have smaller engines... 1.6 - 1.8 litre is for regular cars; 2.0 - 2.4 litre engines are fast cars here. Most people drive a 1.9L Turbo Diesel.

I gave my car in to a company who does audio installations- when i got the car back it had some small dents/creases in the bodywork. They definately were not there prior to me giving the car in as the bodywork was absolutely mint. I have spoken to them about this and they are denying that it could have been them.
What can I do? Does anybody know any specialist lawyers/barristers in the London area who have a good reputation/experience in deaing with cases like this?

I'm looking into the new 2007 Honda CR-V and I have bad credit. I have money but not to put down, but rather to pay for the tax,title, etc. My mom has good credit and is willing to co-sign for me. I need an alarm remote control for my 94 FORD EXPLORER where can I get one?
I lost mine! I have no spare. I've tried a couple of FORD ordering sites and I can't find what I'm looking for. I unhooked my battery and when I hooked it back up the alarm keeps going off. I don't know how to shut it off with out the keychain remote. Any ideas?
