I went to pick up a truck in Crystal Lake, Illinois today, where it was supposed to be, only to find out that the truck was in the next town over. The guy in line behind me was supposed to pick up a truck
in the town where he lived, but was told that his truck was almost one hundred miles away in Chicago.

Ok, well I am trying to find out the absolute cheapest way to go from State College, PA to Lynchburg, VA. Buses and trains are obsurd as well as airline tickets. Then it dawned on me...why not use a rental car? I check prices and they are as cheap as $17/day and I only need it for the weekend. But then arose another dilema...I swore I remembered hearing from somewhere that rental cars can only be taken so many places and not out of state but I am not sure.

I really hope someone knows the answer!

P.S.- If they cant be taken out of state then would anyone happen to know how I could make a round trip under $200?

Thanks!

If two cars are identical except that one is certified to meet the more stringent California ULEV II emission standards and the other is only certified to meet the Federal standards, will the ULEV II certified car have identical mileage and performance to the Federal certifed car, or will it suffer in some way, such as by getting worse mileage, poorer performance, etc.? Thanks for your help.

I have seen several old diesel cars that run on fry oil; there are restaraunts in my town that give away oil for that specific purpose.
All I need is the filtration process and/or any modifications that need to be made to the car.
