I would like to know if I can pull a bumper pull trailer behind a 5th wheel trailer and it be illegal?

It depends on the total length of all vehicles together. If you have a book from the Dept. of Motor vehicles from your state, it should state what the total length can be. Weight should also be figured. If in doubt, call your local Dept. of Motor Vehicles office. If they can't give you an answer, they will find someone who can.

this is unlawful in Australia to tow yet another vehicle at the back of a trailer, caravan etc. B doubles and street trains are allowed. with connection with between the solutions that it would be volatile and no longer able to handle, that's no longer so. whilst serving in the army we regularily towed 3 trailers at the back of landrovers whilst on workouts at speeds upto 80km/ph. 2 years in the past I booked on of the councils in SE QLD for pulling 3 trailers behing a truck, they have been doing 100km/ph and each little thing replaced into good only unlawful.

I guess it would be perfectly legal but that would be one heck of an accident if that thing decided to jackknife on you.

Nope, not as long as you have the lights and all hooked up correctly.. why would it be?
