I want to buy a car from a friend of mine. Nissan 240SX. :)

but i want to know if it can be under my name.

It wil be a cavalier or a 240SX bought off my friend. But i want to know whether i can have it under my name on the title loan.

Yes, but you can't finance it without your parents signature.

On the title yes, if you pay cash.
If you get a loan, your parent(s) would need to co-sign and then they would be required on the title also.
Then if a loan is on the car full coverage insurance is required....
The best way is let mom or Dad get the car in their name and then you can be insured just on your car. it is a lot cheaper than having you on all cars...Sorry, 16 year olds = High insurance. I have my two kids cars 1 15 and 1 19 in my name and their insurance is a lot cheaper on my policy that having a policy of their own....A LOT cheaper

to my knowledge you can own a car at any age,you just cant sign a contract for finance unless you are 17 or 18
