I've got a Garmin iQue 3600 and I wouldn't leave home without it. I've got the US and Europe mapsets on it and it has every back alley in Europe and the US. With the extra maps and a 2 Gig memory card, windshield mount and remote antenna I've got about $1,000 tied up in it. With a 1 Gig card and without the windshield mount, European maps or external antenna it would be about $600.00

If you have a laptop you can buy a Garman 18 GPS and install it. It lists for $129.95 but you can find it for less on E bay and at some retailers!
