I'm sure we can all agree that picking a day to stop driving just won't work.........

With that said,Why not Try this?

If EVERYONE Stopped Buying gas from Exxon/Mobil(They're making the Most Money) for 1 Month I Guaruntee they will drop there Prices.

They would have to,then to be able to compete, other companies would follow suit.........

Instead of Blaming others(instead of Supply and Demand)We as Consumers need to accept some Responsibility on this Issue......

We as Consumers can set the Price by Boycotting Exxon/Mobil completely.

So What Say YOU?

Are any of you willing to Stop buying Gas from Exxon/Mobil for 1 Month?

I Stopped a few months ago.So have my Family(entire family)and friends too...........

And their telling their friends to stop.Word of Mouth can only go so far though. With all the People here,You would be surprised at the difference you can make.......

So you can continue complaining OR you can actually do something........................

This is a really specific question to teens that live in CT, My friend is taking her driver's test in Hamden and would like to know if anyone can describe the area or the test in that area, or if anyone has any tips about passing the driving portion of a driver's test in general.

So many Americans on here moan about the price of gas, but how many of them are doing something to adapt and buying smaller cars?

I read a question on here about buying an ideal first car for a teenager and I was completely shocked to read the cars people were suggesting; Dodge Neon, Honda Prelude. These are considered family cars in Europe!

Are Americans starting to realise they will need to give up their SUVs yet?

I bought an electric scooter on eBay, and within the first week of having it, i wrecked the batteries, i think by over-charging them. I think i heard somewhere that it is possible to revive them, by draining them so low that they reverse polarity, it won't be possible to buy new ones either, because buying relacements would cost more than buying a new scooter. If you know anything about this procedure, please let me know, keep in mind that they are 'Sealed Lead Batteries'. They are also two individual batteries, so i guess i don't have to worry about one changing polarity and the other one not, unless there are more than one cell in each. If it helps, the model number on them is CP 1245, and they are 12V 4.5AH each. Thanks.

My 1968 Pontiac GTO had a 395 horse HO engine with a muncie 4 speed rigged to shift backwards and butterfly rear-end. I only raced factory stock cars. The car that beat me, took me in the 1/4 mile but I beat him top end. I will offer this clue...only a very limited number of the whoopmyass car was built and it is extremely rare to find.

If you where to ask how fast my GTO was top end then I can`t tell you. My speedo broke while outrunning a Mississippi Highway Patrol crusier w/no lights on top. I found out later that top end for those cruisers was around 147mph. The funny thing is...I was invited one time by the MHP out to their skid pad so thier rookies could chase me around the course as part of thier training.

With gas prices sky-high, I've noticed kerosene stays about the same; how hard would it be to redo a car [an older car without all the feul emission crap on it, for example, a 1960 Volkswagen] to run on kero?
