Hi, people. :) We've all seen movies such as The Fast and the Furious, where tuned cars use boosts of bottled nitrous oxide gas for added acceleration and top speed. What I'd like to know is just how it works. I've heard that it basically consists of cold gas being injected into the engine, presumably to cool it, but is it involved in some kind of chemical reaction?
Thanks!

I've been saving up for my first car, and any advice will help. My parents are divorced, Dad lives in another state, and Mom doesn't know anything about cars. I've heard how people try to take advantage of girls especially in buying cars, overcharging, etc... how can I make sure I'm getting a good deal, and a good car?? Dealerships vs. Private Sellers, online?? what's the best way to go? (kinda long, but answers are appreciated ^.~)

I want to buy customized car seats online but I am having trouble finding a place where I can put any picture or design on seat covers. I want Texas Longhorn emblem on them and cant even find Texas Longhorn Seat Covers... Most sites do not let you pick your own design you have to choose from theirs. So if anyone knows where I can either Customize a seat with the Texas Longhorn Emblem or find Texas Longhorn car Seat Covers let me know!!!

I was taking my child to first day of school. He is seven and my daughter is nine. I passed a cop on the way. My son who was strapped in by his buckle took the shoulder strap off(not the seat belt) but the shoulder strap he took off his shoulder and put under his arm. He leaned forward to open the window to say hi to the cop. The cop pulled me over and said my son wasn't buckled. I told him he was and exactly what happened and he said that that was not what he saw and gave me a ticket to appear in court. A violation ticket. I don't think this was fair. My son was still buckled and had always been buckled. Am I wrong, what should I do. I have a perfect driving record and I am worried this will ruin it. I have never had to do this before and don't even know what the fine is going to be. I really can't afford it either. My son now says he doesn't like police men now. I told him that they are good and only doing their job, but this one I think was wrong. Welll..........?

I just heard that an alaskin oil field is shutting down and could reduce barrles of oil to the US by like 400 000 barrels. Does this mean gas will be 4 to 5 dollars a gallon.
