don't just change gears fast, make sure u do it right!
try to get the hihg revs before changing gears (right in the middle of the red zone, then change gears, u don't wanna over rev or short shift)

when you first start out, DO NOT get in a position where you need to accelerate off a hill from a complete stop. Getting use to a manual clutch on a hill takes a little bit of time to master. When driving down a hill, you can use engine compression to slow your vehicle down, which will help conserve your brakes emensely. Cruising around town and shifting without revving high will help conserve fuel mileage. When parking, leave the car in gear, which will save use of emergency brakes.

Remember most engine overspeeding damage comes from prematurely downshifting, not over-revving... Use your engine to help slow you down but remember, if it is slick out, engine braking can cause sliding, as well...Never slip your clutch to stay in place on a hill...set the park brake, then let the clutch out slowly when you want to go, as soon as the engine starts to bog down, release the brake and take off...it takes some practice , but you will get the hang of it soo n... Good Luck...

Let out on the clutch while easing into the gas Then remember to shift before then engin blows. Once your good you can shave the synchros and forget the clutch after launch.

Drive at the top of your gear to save gas. Rpm's high and shift only when necessary and down shift. This keeps the fuel flow at a minimum.
