I remember a hand cleaner called Safetykleen. It was like snott but did a lot better job than anything they sell today. It had an odor that would knock you over that smelled like solvent (probably why it worked so well)

It may have been Gojo. They were around back then, their hand cleaners come in canned form, and they're still in business today.

I seem to remember something like Goop when I was a young, but I've slept several times since then.
