Would you still need to get a permit, then wait six months before you get your liscence? Or would you be able to just go and take the driving test and get the liscence?

I live in Howard Ohio. I think we are going to old man's cave for our anniversary either staying in logan or in lancaster. So i figure i could rent it from some where close to home or pick it up or have them pick us up when we arrive. Any suggestions. I want to rent a jeep or a convertible for atleast Saturday. I have never rented one before and don't know were to start.

On vintage and classic Ford and GM autos (years 1940 'and '50's) is the ignition key inserted into the ignition with the cut side up or the cut side down. Thanks.

With the huge amount of traffic accidents, should it be mandatory to take a driving exam when renewing your license? Not the driving exam taken to get the license, but a new test geared towards maintaining safe drivers.

Oddly enough, gas prices have trippled but the difference has remained about 10 cents, or 5% between the different grades of fuel. At some point, it may be cheaper to buy the better grade because of the increased mileage.

I only ask since I know cars with turbo and superchargers get better gas mileage but I don't know to what extent. This would not be a car I would be driving every day of the year. It would be a summer only car to keep it in the best condition possible (i.e. keep it away from salt on the streets to melt the snow, etc. during the winter months).

My boyfriend bought me a car for christmas 2005, but our relationship is rocky and I really won't out but I want my car to go with me but he says because it is in his name and that he pays the notes that I can't have it, but I remind you he bought the car for me and opted to pay the notes and insurance himself. I know their is a law for this .

I don't want the GPS you have to download from the computer. I would like the one that connects via satellite.
