ambessador is still in use in india and manufactured by hindustan motors and they have just tied up with bentley also.

They were made by AMC ( American Motors Corporation) in the 1970s, that company also owned Jeep, the whole thing was bought by Chrysler Corporation. Chrysler Corp was then bought by Diamler-Benz, the parent company of Mercedes Benz. Any records or info you need will be available through Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, Mercedes Benz dealers etc!
