That depends on what alternate fuel you want to convert it to and if you want to be able to run multiple types of fuel.

around 1000 to 1500 to convert most other vehicles to propane unless you look around and find a used kit. There is a company that makes a duel fuel kit that will allow you to run either gasoline or propane with just a flip of a switch
