I only ask since I know cars with turbo and superchargers get better gas mileage but I don't know to what extent. This would not be a car I would be driving every day of the year. It would be a summer only car to keep it in the best condition possible (i.e. keep it away from salt on the streets to melt the snow, etc. during the winter months).

i dont know where you get your info, but superchargers and turbos increase power, therfore decrease gas mileage, if turbos and superchargers did increase gas mileage then everyone in the world would have like 7 turbos on their car to save gas

Cars with turbo or superchargers get better gas mileage than WHAT ? Actually, if they are gas (petrol) engines they do worse. Properly designed diesels with turbochargers can get better mileage. I don't remember what the Grand Nationals got, but they were seriously fast cars, so generally didn't do that well. If you drove carefully, you could do better of course, but a properly tuned V8 could do about as well, since the compression was reduced on the turbo engines to prevent excessive detonation.

If it will be mainly a show and fun car, don't worry about it that much. I'm sure it won't do any worse than a lot of the SUVs people are tooling around in. Probably do better than the big ones. My turboed Lebaron GTS never did better than 24, and usually was between 18 and 20. It could see 15 when I was getting on it too much, and that was a 4 cylinder. The Grand National can probably do high teens if you're nice to it, and get single digits if you spend too much time showing off at stoplights.

the merely excellent available. No, you isn't waiting to inform the version, because you at the instant are not interior your engine. Your engine will sense the version after many miles although. Low grade gas gained't burn to boot, and ought to produce engine knock, and at that element you'll see.
