I just bought a 2006 Shadow Spirit 750 and I want to add a few things such as windshield, backrest/seat and maybe pipes. Anyone know of a good website to find these items at reasonable prices?

Hi, I hear that 2001 Goldwings have a built in intercom system, but do not really know what I would need to buy to enable it. I know there are mics and speakers, but are these built into helmets or can you get them separate? My mom just bought my dad really nice Shoei helmets last year, so would this mean she'd have to buy different ones to get the intercom to work, or is there something that can just be placed inside the existing helmets? Thanks so much for any help!

This morning, I had made it all the way to work and in the parking lot, after applying the rear brake, the engine died and the rear tire would not turn. Then I let it sit for an hour, it started right up and brake had released.

Heya, everybody.
I just got my motorcycle endorsement a couple months ago after taking the MSF course. I am now in the process of looking at motorcycles, cruisers to be specific. The models I'm looking at are:
1. Yamaha Virago 250
2. Kawasaki Vulcan 500
3. Honda Nighthawk or Rebel
I'd like a slightly bigger bike to begin with but $$$ is a big issue, as I am a college student.
On the bikes I've listed above, I'd like to know:
1. Comfortable cruising speed and range (living in Montana, I want a bike that I can drive 120-200 miles at a time at highway speed (75 mph)). Also, is it comfortable to drive on the freeway?
2. Average MPG that the bike gets.
3. Any other specifics that you think I should know.
I will mainly be using this bike for short trips (50 miles or less), but as I said, I'd like to be able to take it on longer trips now and then.
I'm a taller guy, almost 6'6" and weigh about 160 lbs, so if these bikes are really going to be an absolute killer for me to ride, tell me. THX.

Looking to buy a bike, but what's the pro's and con's of one with a carb vs fuel injection? Is it the same case as cars?

I am completely in love with the Kawasaki ZX-14. I REALLY want this bike. Is it a good choice for a first bike?

I'm not very mechanically inclined, but I am looking to start customizing and working on my bike. I have become tired of the stock handlebars and position of the footpegs and I have thought about paying someone to change the handlebars and push the footpegs out further, but I feel like I should be the one to work on my bike. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Me and my mom are arguing over what makes a chopper a chopper and what makes a crotch-rocket a crotch-rocket. By crotch-rocket I mean like a Suzuki Hayabusa or a Ninja. I say a chopper is defined by the sound it makes but yeah whatever. Please answer so that we can settle this. Thanks.
