K&N air filter?

ANY BODY OUT THERE TELL ME HOW TO FIT K&N AIR FILTER TO 1999 YAMAHA MAJESTY YP250. HAVE REMOVED AIRBOX COVER. OR IF ANY MODIFICATION NEEDS TO BE MADE TO AIRBOX.

According to K&N, no modifications necessary. Just install it. What's wrong? It won't fit on the manifold, it's to big for the air box, can't close the cover?
Maybe you were sold the wrong model. Parts counter new-bees make mistakes all the time. Check your part # against K&N's
