I have a Yamaha DT 175 E from 1978. This is an old and semi-rare bike which means parts are hard to find. Spark plug was universal so i got that. Ebay has nothing i need. Dennis Kirk is great and i got stuff from there but i need a new Boot for the left fork and i cant seem to find one anywhere. I need sites, and links so i can buy this stuff on the internet. I also need things like a new seat and a new airfilter (airfilter needs to be under 40 bucks, thats the cheapest ive found one).

Suppose there is an abandoned motorcycle in a local park. Its a trail bike so its not road legal or registered with the DVLA. Presumably the bike has been nicked by some little scrote and dumped. Its been there a week or so in full view but nobody cares and nobody has moved it. I want to take it home and fix it up or use it for spares. Is there any way I can do this legally?

Okay, most people could tell you in a heart beat what they like about riding a motorcycle, but I want to know some of the negatives before I get my first bike. Give me some of the cons of riding both racing and harley style bikes. Include some of the reasons you like it too if you want! thanks

Main thing to consider - I'm short! (but have realized this shouldn't be too big a problem as I grow more confident riding) - 26" inseam, 5'0 tall. I initially liked the look of a cruiser, and still do - but wonder if anybody has had experience - as a short rider - on a sport bike. Is it possible to get a short sport bike? How do they ride for the 'vertically challenged'?
