I have a Yamaha DT 175 E from 1978. This is an old and semi-rare bike which means parts are hard to find. Spark plug was universal so i got that. Ebay has nothing i need. Dennis Kirk is great and i got stuff from there but i need a new Boot for the left fork and i cant seem to find one anywhere. I need sites, and links so i can buy this stuff on the internet. I also need things like a new seat and a new airfilter (airfilter needs to be under 40 bucks, thats the cheapest ive found one).

Thanks, the best and/or most links gets the best answer.

You are half right about the bike, it is old.
If you want original replacement parts like your fork cover, go to a Yamaha dealer.
If you can't get one there you need to get a new pair of similar boots from the aftermarket.
Seat you will probably have to have an upholstery shop fix.

Hi, There is a publication called Walnecks Classic Cycle Trader
it is available at most newstands or magazine stores and will have a long list of bonyards and other vendors, including websites. You could also try Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club
(IE. vjmc.com) you have to join, but, should be a wealth of info.
Also do a search on yahoo groups for Yamaha clubs and such.

"Forking by Frank" make fork tubes for any bike. And they make them at any length you like for custom jobs.
