getting an old, second hand one can be done in the region of £100 or even less, but if you want top of the range it could cost thousands. check out Auto Trader. htye have excellent coverage, and also keep your eyes on private sellers, as they can sometimes let their beauties go for ridiculous prices. i would reccommend second hand if you are on a budget.

Hi brother, im sorry if ican only tell you about Honda brand in the Philippines it coz around 57,000 peso,a brand new one, You better buy a brand new one otherwise the second hand will not last longer and you do more repairs or change some spareparts,

It depends if you're buying a used SV650 for $4,500 or a new Harley for $30,000.
What's more important is that whatever you do, budget AT LEAST $1000 more for FULL gear. This means helmet, gloves, jacket, boots and pants. Take an MSF course if you're a newbie, and don't be a squid.

Almost as much or as little as you could want. It's possible to find running but worn out bikes for under $1,000, ones that make perfectly good transportation for $2,500, and those high end show bikes cost more than most cars.
